You Guitarprayer is a psychedelic noise rock trio based in Cologne, Germany, formed in 2016. The band features Soheyl Nassary (vocals, guitar), Scharco (bass), and Spiro Kotsomitopoulos (drums) – three seasoned musicians with deep roots in the German and European noise underground.
Having played in projects like Nicoffeine, Tarngo, Clarkys Bacon, Genepool, and Toxoplasma, the trio fuses raw energy, ritualistic pressure, and a strong rock ethos. Their sound blends neo-psychedelia, noise-infused shoegaze, and cinematic freak-outs – intense, immersive, and visceral.
Following their debut album “Art Won’t Tear Us Apart Again” (2019) and the trippy single “Ace Of Wands” (2022), they now return with a new sonic statement:
“I Am The Light, The Light I Am” – to be released as a Limited Edition Crystal-Clear Vinyl (140 g) incl. Zoetrope Inlay via Worst Bassist Records.
A cinematic sound ritual oscillating between light and shadow – heavy, floating, and spiritually charged.

You Guitarprayer ist ein Psychedelic Noise Rock Trio aus Köln, gegründet 2016. Die Band besteht aus Soheyl Nassary(Gesang, Gitarre), Scharco (Bass) und Spiro Kotsomitopoulos (Schlagzeug) – drei Musiker mit Wurzeln tief im deutschen und europäischen Noise-Underground.
Bekannt aus Projekten wie Nicoffeine, Tarngo, Clarkys Bacon, Genepool und Toxoplasma, bringen sie rohe Energie, hypnotischen Druck und einen ausgeprägten Rock-Spirit auf die Bühne. Ihre Musik bewegt sich zwischen Neo-Psychedelia, Noise-infused Shoegaze und ritualhaften Klangexplosionen – intensiv, kompromisslos, körperlich.
